2026 CALENDAR
Spring: The Season of Renewal
Looking around us, we can see Spring emerging before we have to name it. There is the wild wind and sunshine days which begin to lengthen, new growth appears, birds become more active and the landscape slowly gathers energy. Spring is a time of emerging yang energy … and it calls us to emerge from our hibernation and engage with the world. Our practice can help us create space for what is beginning: movement to gently wake the body, expanding our breath, bringing curiosity to the mind and leaning into life with renewed energy.

Early Summer : The season of Expansion
Looking around us, we can feel Early Summer arriving in the rapid rising warmth of the sun, the longer days, the lushness of the gardens and the increasing activity all around us. In TCM, this is the beginning of the Fire season – a time when yang energy is rising and life naturally moves outward. So it is natural to sense expansion, connection and possibility as we emerge more fully into the world. Our practice can work with this rising energy: movement to open and energise the body, breath to awaken and expand us, and meditation to cultivate connection, joy and presence as we engage with life.

2027 CALENDAR
Mid Summer : The season of Nourishment
Moving into Mid and High Summer, the energy of the season has reached its peak. Around the Summer Solstice, we experience the longest days and maximum yang … the fullness of light, warmth and outward energy. It is easy to keep moving with this momentum, but this is also the time to recognise that too much heat and activity can deplete us. In TCM, the Heart is associated with Summer and with the spirit, or Shen, reminding us that wellbeing is not simply about doing more. Our practice invites us to balance the intensity of the season: cooling and calming the body, softening the breath, settling the mind and creating moments of stillness within all that Summer brings.

Autumn : The season of Releasing
Our landscape in Autumn includes changing light, cooler mornings, and falling leaves. After the outward energy and abundance of Summer, there is a natural shift towards gathering in, slowing down and letting go. Autumn is a time of ripening … of taking stock of what has grown, gathering what is nourishing and allowing what is no longer needed to fall away. Our practice can help us work with this changing rhythm: turning our attention inward, creating space to reflect, and learning the art of letting go so that we can move more lightly into what comes next.

I’m Sarah Fletcher, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Meditation has been part of my life for more than 30 years, and I’ve been teaching for more than 15. Along the way, my practice has continued to evolve, and Qigong has become a beautiful companion to meditation … bringing movement, breath and stillness together in ways that feel both deeply grounded and very relevant to modern life.
I live by the beach in Victoria, Australia, and happiest beginning my day with meditation and a morning walk with my dog. Simple daily practices are the heart of what I share: not a perfect routine or another to-do list item .. but ways to weave meditation and qigong, breath and seasonal wisdom into a living practice that evolves with you. I love to draw on the depth and wisdom of traditional practices, while keeping things practical, contemporary and real. I believe practice is something we live, not something we simply learn … and that small, consistent moments of coming back to ourselves can make a profound difference to how we move through the world.
