UPDATE: April 7, 2020.

As we all adjust to the ongoing challenges and changes associated with the evolving coronavirus situation .. I shall now be offering ALL AUTUMN CLASSES online through ZOOM (an online meeting space).

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL to confirm your place and details for entering our online space will then be provided. A Zoom account is not required to attend these gathering.

Autumn invites us to slow our pace now, to gather what we need in preparation for the stillness and solitude of Winter. Now is a natural time for finding the tools and practices that will ground and support, to reflect and plan, sort and discard, so we shall navigate this time of change and transition.

In Autumn, Mother Nature reminds us that change is inevitable and that everything is in the process of becoming something else; as we witness the leaves changing colour in their own time, over many weeks, and then suddenly the landscape will appear bare. This is also our journey .. moment by moment.

One study found that neurologically this practice, which integrates breathing, sound and movement, activated a variety of motor and cognition centres in the brain, and after eight weeks of practice, researchers found ‘at least’ a 10% improvement in memory.

APR 26th (SUN): LOVING KINDNESS MEDITATION

Loving Kindness Meditation comes from the Buddhist practice of mettā bhāvanā (Pali word that translates as ‘love’ or more often ‘loving-kindness’). The practice involves the silent recitation of classic phrases that remind us of the deepest truths of love, kindness, and connection. No particular belief is required .. we are simply practising kindness and generosity with ourselves and others, shifting our focus from getting love to creating it, and from fixing life to embracing it.
Class: 7:00pm to 8:00pm online Investment: $25
