Seasonal Mindfulness helps us cultivate an awareness of the seasonal changes unfolding in our external environment, so that we might better understanding their influence on our internal world .. our energy, mood, attitudes, beliefs, thoughts, and choices.
In our monthly gatherings we shall explore three key Seasonal characteristics, with a monthly theme to inspire and direct our meditation and mindfulness practices and daily life rituals. You’ll learn:
- three key Seasonal characteristics and how we can learn from them
- a guided meditation inspired and directed by the monthly theme
- a mindfulness exercise that aligns with the monthly theme
- a daily ritual to invite the wisdom of the season into daily life
Spring Awakening (Sep to Nov)
Spring is about rebirth and awakening .. all around us the world is bursting with new life and creative energy, which naturally influences our own energy levels: encouraging fresh insights, the birth of new ideas, and a sense of unlimited possibility.
Springs gift is the reminder that renewal and rebirth are all a part of the cycle of life, and as creatures of this world we can tune into this energy just by looking around us, taking a walk outside, breathing the fresh aromatic air, raising our face to the gentle sunlight or nourishing our body with fresh, colourful seasonal produce. It is time to awaken and shake off the hibernation of Winter, along with any unwanted or redundant habits, and to stretch into the potentiality of new beginnings.
