Exploring Meditation Course

This is a 40-day journey to discover the transformative power of meditation, drawn from my own meditation journey of over 30+ years. Rest assured, we are not ‘meditating for 40 days’ but we are embarking on a journey together, to explore a variety of techniques and address some of the common challenges; with a focus on helping you build a consistent, sustainable, and enjoyable meditation practice.

Over the years meditation has profoundly shaped my life, bringing an incredible sense of inner calm, greater presence, and expanding how I experience, and turn-up in the world. Meditation has become the lens through which I filter daily life, and I’ve always been passionate about sharing the benefits of this ancient practice .. what I call, a life skill.

Whether you’re just beginning or looking to deepen your practice, Exploring Meditation is designed to meet you where you are. In our fast-paced, noisy lives, meditation offers a powerful antidote – helping to alleviate stress, overwhelm, and fatigue, while nurturing a deeper sense of calm, connection and well-being.

What to Expect

In this 40-day course, you’ll explore meditation techniques rooted in Mindfulness and Mantra practices. Each day, you’ll receive a short, practical email with a guided audio meditation, starting with just 5 minutes and gradually extending to 20-30 minutes. We also offer a weekly live Zoom class where you can ask questions and meditate with the group.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Find a technique that resonates with you and your lifestyle
  • Develop a consistent meditation routine and experience some of the benefits
  • Experience greater clarity, calmness, and focus

Course Highlights

  • Daily emails: Practical instructions and a guided meditation (audio) to support your journey
  • Weekly LIVE class: Join us on Zoom every Monday (7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Melbourne AEST) for group meditation and Q&A
  • Meditation Journal: Record your insights and track your progress with our Meditation Habit Tracker
  • Completion Guidebook: Upon finishing, receive a guidebook filled with journaling prompts and course content for continued support.

Late Spring – As we transition from spring to summer there is a rapidly rising heat and fire energy that can significantly impact our energy levels and emotional wellbeing, often leading to issues around sleeping and heightened agitation.

Building and maintaining a regular meditation practice during this season can help improve the smooth flow of Qi (life force energy), enhancing our adaptability to change and bringing some balance to our emotions.

Early Summer – A time of super abundant energy, both in the environment around us, but also experienced within us. The hot and expansive nature of early summer drives us toward increased productivity and socialisation, but it can also quickly lead us to experience burnout and lethargy.

Cultivating a regular meditation practice during this time of year can help restore our Yin energy, to minimise stress, prioritise restorative sleep and foster a healthier stress response.
