Spring in October, here in Melbourne, marks the shift to Daylight Saving where we turn our clocks forward one hour .. giving us additional sunlight hours to enjoy each day.
Yes, we are still in lockdown, but waking to blue skies and sunshine can certainly shift my mood, and makes my daily walk and weekend picnic time .. magical!
One of the lessons I have re-learned over this crazy 2020/21 period .. has been the power and immense joy that can be gained in the small things, and a realisation that we can too easily take much of life for granted. And having a daily meditation and gratitude practice has been my saving grace.
The Season of Spring: Renewal. Awakening. Growth.
Until advised our meditation, mindfulness + tea gatherings will remain on ZOOM for the time being. And the silver lining is that you can come dressed as comfortably as you like (pj’s are allowed) and I can join you in your sacred space or favourite chair, even on your backyard deck!
